WEBSITE ACTIVITY · OCTOBER 19, 2026

Website activity
& privacy.

Casper uses first-party, anonymous activity counts to understand website visits and checkout progress. A private owner dashboard shows recent visitors, selected plans, checkout steps, PayPal opening, and receipt views.

What the dashboard records

A random browser identifier, whether you are on the storefront or checkout, weekly, monthly, or yearly plan selection, a checkout-stage label, and activity timestamps. The activity collector accepts only these fixed categories; it does not record what you type into checkout.

What it does not record

The dashboard does not display names, email addresses, passwords, IP addresses, product keys, private receipt links, card or bank details, AI conversations, form questions, or Casper app usage. PayPal and the separate license service process purchases and activation details as part of the checkout service. Standard hosting security logs may separately contain technical request information.

A keyed, non-readable fingerprint of the connection address associates recent visits with a connection for up to 24 hours. Owner connections are excluded from activity counts; their fingerprints are kept to prevent future owner visits from being counted. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the activity database.

Storage and your choices

The anonymous website cookie lasts up to 24 hours after the last recorded visit. Detailed website activity is retained for a rolling 24 hours. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by not sending these activity events. Browser restrictions or blockers can prevent activity from being counted. Owner sign-in uses a separate secure session cookie lasting up to 12 hours.

Access and contact

Only the password-protected owner dashboard can retrieve activity reports. No advertising networks or third-party analytics providers receive this activity. For privacy questions, open a private Casper support ticket. Do not post product keys, passwords, or private receipt links in public channels.
